Perhaps the quickest way to start making money
everquest2.station.sony.com in EQII is by taking quests and hunting NPCs. Quest rewards vary, but usually include some coin and often a loot item or two, such as armor, jewelry, or weapons. Hunting rewards are quite similar; some NPCs drop money, some drop loot, and some drop both.
Items won from NPCs and quest rewards can be sold to most merchants, and some are worth selling to other players through the broker. Its a good idea to check the value of the item on the broker before selling it to a merchant for quick cash.

everquest 2 plat Requiem: Bloodymare is trying out a new model: you can pay, if you want, or you can play for free. One of the perks for paying is an early-access period: subscribers got to log in this Monday the 16th while free players wont get the chance to try it out until tonight, on the 19th. I had the chance to play both in the open beta, and in the 3-day premium period.
One of the things I was most looking forward to with the premium user period was a chance to get away from the inane blather of region chat during the open beta. Sadly, all the idiotic chatter was still here in premium, which confirmed my worst nightmare: there are people out there willing to pay a monthly fee just to prove
everquest 2 plat that they are jerks to anyone reading the chat box. Thats another one of the privileges of paying the monthly fee for Bloodymare: free users cannot chat in regional chat.

The landscapes, at least in the lower levels, are far from horrific: theyre they plain low-res textured polygonal landscapes weve all seen a thousand times before. Still, the physics engine was aptly employed to cause the bodies of slain foes to be ripped apart and bounce across those bland landscapes,
eq2 plat twitching all the way and spattering blood everywhere. I guess thats kind of horrific, if I wasnt so desensitized to violence.
